Eurocontrol Closes First Tranche of Private Placement Financing

Eurocontrol Technics Inc.
(TSX VENTURE:EUO) ("Eurocontol" or the "Company"), a Canadian public company specializing in the acquisition, development and commercialization of innovative energy security, authentication and verification technologies, announces that it has closed the first tranche of its previously announced private placement (the "Financing"). In connection with the Financing, the Company issued 12,036,332 units (the "Units") at a price of $0.15 per Unit for gross proceeds in the amount of $1,805,449. Each Unit consists of one common share of the Company and one common share purchase warrant (a "Warrant"). Each Warrant entitles the holder to acquire a common share of the Company at a price of $0.20 until September 27, 2012. The expiry of the Warrants may be accelerated, if at any time following the 6 month anniversary of the date of the warrant certificates, the closing price of the underlying common shares listed on the TSX Venture Exchange is greater than $0.45 for 30 or more consecutive trading days on a volume weighted average basis, at which time the Company may give notice to the Warrantholders that the Warrants will expire on the 30th day following receipt of the notice.
The securities issued pursuant to the Financing are subject to a four month regulatory hold period until January 28, 2011.
The Company paid finder's fees in the amount of $81,930 and issued 546,200 finder's warrants in connection with the Financing. Each finder's warrant entitles the holder to acquire a Unit of the Company at a price of $0.15 until September 27, 2012.
